NEET PG test city allotment 2024 has created disparity allegations on NBE. Consequently, FAIMA and All India Dental Association have requested the Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Jagat Prasad Nadda, to re-evaluate the NEET PG exam city allocation 2024.

The National Board of Education (NBE) has announced the NEET PG exam city allotment 2024. Students have been allotted the exam city to appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) on their registered mobile number. However, numerous students have claimed that NBE has allotted NEET PG 2024 exam city randomly and the disparity of NEET PG city allotment 2024 has made student share their frustration on several social media platforms including X, formerly Twitter. 

Consequently, student associations such as the All India Students Dental Association and the Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) have come forward in support of students.   

FAIMA Urged Health Ministry to Intervene

FAIMA has written a letter to the Minister of Health & Family Welfare and Chemicals & Fertilizers, Jagat Prakash Nadda urging re-evaluation of the NEET PG exam city allotment 2024. 

"On behalf of the Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA), we are writing to bring to your immediate and urgent attention the significant challenges NEET PG aspirants are encountering regarding the allocation of examination centres. It has come to our notice that several candidates across the country have been allocated centres far from their place of residence or native state, and in many cases, in cities entirely different from the four preferred choices indicated during the allotment process." The FAIMA notice reads.

All India Students Dental Association Highlighted NEET PG 2024 Mismanagement 

The Student Dental Association has pointed out NEET PG 2024 irregularities and disparity in exam city allotment on social media platform X, formerly Twitter. 

"NEETPG It's clear that Minister JPNadda seems unaware of the mess his officials created. NBEMS's incompetence is glaring; like NTA, NBE officials should be replaced, and a complete overhaul is urgent. The association further added "aspirants are sharing their hardships on social media. Why isn't the authority noticing? How can such a flawed centre allocation happen when their choices aren't assigned? It's a sheer mockery by NBE."

Besides, Congress Leader Shashi Tharoor has written a letter to the Minister of Health & Family Welfare on the NEET PG 2024 critical issue. Tharoor has mentioned that the health minister has promised sympathetic action to resolve the problem. Besides, several MPs in Kerala met the union health minister for the reallocation of the NEET PG exam city 2024.

Q:   When will NBE conduct NEET PG 2024 exam?
A:

NEET PG 2024 exam was held on August 11 in two shifts. The exam was conducted in computer-based mode. The question paper of NEET PG 2024 comprised 200 multiple choice questions and candidates were given 3.5 hours to answer them. NBE declared NEET PG 2024 result on August 23, 2024.

Q:   Will marks be deducted for unanswered questions in NEET PG?
A:

No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions as per the existing NEET PG pattern. Such questions will not be taken into consideration while calculating marks of a candidate. Candidates are advised to attempt only those questions where they are confident of right answer. If there is iota of doubt of correct answer, candidates are advised to leave that question. Otherwise, negative marking may reduce your total score which will ultimately impact your overall performance.

 

Q:   Has NBE released NEET PG 2025 date notification?
A:

Yes. NBE has released official notification for NEET PG 2025 exam date (revised). The exam will be held on August 3, 2025. The exam will be held in single shift. NEET PG 2025 was earlier scheduled for June 15 but it was postponed after Supreme Court's intervention. SC directed NBE to make arrangements to conduct NEET PG 2025 in single shift.
