The National Medical Commission (NMC) has released the information sheet for the online application for renewal/recognition/continuation of recognition of MBBS seats for the academic year 2022-23.

The medical colleges in India seeking renewal/recognition/continuation of recognition of MBBS seats for the academic year 2022-23, must know that National Medical Commission (NMC) has released the information sheet for online application for these purposes. The Commission has advised all applicant colleges to go through the information and instructions regarding the online applications.

NMC says that only online applications will be received including enclosures and fees and no offline copy will be accepted.

Steps to fill online application for renewal/recognition of MBBS seats

  • Visit https://www.nmc.org.in/information-desk/ug-renewal/ and click on "Click here to proceed to Registration page” below this link.
  • Register to get a unique ID and temporary password.
  • If already registered during AY 2021-22, log in using the same unique ID and password.
  • If forgot the earlier password, click on the "Forgot Password".
  • Login using the unique ID and password and fill out the application form.

The notification reads, "All the applicants should inform about the dates of final theory and practical examinations: -a) Six months before the examinations b) Inform the exact date of examinations c) Reminder letter, one week before the exam."

"Your application will be considered as submitted only if you have received an application number against your online application and acknowledgement email with pdf of your application form as an attachment. The required non-refundable fee for (Renewal/Recognition & Continuation of Recognition) applications is INR 354,000(including GST) for both the Government Colleges(under Central Government and State Governments) and for private sector medical colleges/institutions," added the notification.
