Central Board of Secondary Education is likely to release CTET notification 2025 soon. Once released candidates can get 21st edition CTET 2025 notification PDF link at official website ctet.nic.in. As per past years trends CTET is held twice a year July and December. However with delay in release of notification CTET may likely see either combined or separate notification for both sessions. 

What to Expect in CTET 2025 Notification?

CTET notification will have

  • CTET information bulletin will have details on eligibility and exam pattern and syllabus and fee structure
  • CTET important dates of application window and last date to apply and admit card
  • Detailed exam schedule, city allotment procedure and admit card updates

Central Teacher Eligibility Test is national level exam conducted by CBSE. Passing CTET is needed for appointment as teacher in schools under Government of India and certain state schools. CTET exam is held for two papers

Paper I is for those wishing to teach Classes I to V

A:
A CTET qualified teacher at primary level usually get an in-hand salary of INR 35,000-37,000. A teacher at upper-primary level get an in-hand salary of INR 43,000-46,000. A CTET-qualified PGT teacher typically gets an in-hand salary of INR 48,000-50,000. It may be noted that the CTET salary varies depending on the post, skill and work experience of a candidate.
Q:   What is the basic pay of a CTET-qualified PRT teacher?
A:
The basic pay of a CTET-qualified PRT teacher is usually INR 35,400. Check below the salary structure: Pay Scale- 9,300-34,800 Grade Pay- 4,200 Basic Pay after 7th Pay Commission- 35,400 HRA- 3,240 TA- 1,600 Gross Salary (Basic Pay+HRA+TA)- 40,240 Net Salary- 35,000-37,000.
Q:   Will CTET be conducted online or offline?
A:

The CTET 2025 exam will be conducted offline in pen and paper mode. Until 2020, the CTET exam was held offline in pen and paper mode. In 2021 and 2022, the exam was held online wherein candidates were required to mark their answers on the computer. However, the exam was organised offline again in 2023 and 2024.
