Jharkhand TET 2024 Exam Cancelled

School Education and Literacy Department issued notice stating that Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test has been cancelled. This decision came after many candidates submitted requests to change existing JTET Rules 2019. In response, department formed committee, which has proposed changes to rules and recommended formation of new framework for conducting Jharkhand TET. Hence, it has been decided that JTET 2024 stands cancelled.

New JTET Notification Expected Soon

New Jharkhand TET notification will be issued once revised rules are finalised by School Education and Literacy Department. After final approval and implementation of these updated rules, Jharkhand Academic Council will release official JTET notification outlining revised schedule and application process. All details and guidelines will be communicated through official channels soon.

Fee Exemption for Registered Candidates

Candidates who have already paid Jharkhand TET application fee through Council online portal under Notification No. 30/2024 will not need to pay fee again when new application process begins. Council will issue detailed guidelines regarding this soon. Jharkhand Academic Council conducts Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test to assess eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in government schools across Jharkhand for classes 1 to 8.
