NDA 2 notification 2020 released for 413 vacancies; Apply before July 6

Finally, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released NDA 2 notification on June 16. Candidates who wish to join the premier defence academies, National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy, can fill and submit their application forms till July 6, 2020. The online application form can be withdrawn from July 13 to 17. The pay by cash option will be deactivated on July 5. 

NDA notification is released to fill up a total of 413 vacancies. The written exam will be conducted on July 6 across 41 NDA exam centres.

NDA application form fee is Rs 100, however, SC/ST candidates/Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs are exempted from paying the fees. Applicants must have Aadhar Card/ Voter Card/PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License/ School Photo ID/Any other photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government to fill the application form. Only unmarried male candidates who have completed Class 12 and are born between January 2, 2002, and January 1, 2005, can apply for NDA exam. Candidates who are in Class 11 cannot apply for the NDA recruitment.

Registered candidates will be issued NDA admit card 2020 three weeks before the exam. NDA 2 result for the written exam will be declared in December. The SSB Interview will be conducted from January 2021 to April 2021. Check here NDA dates

This year, a common exam will be conducted for NDA 1 and 2 candidates. Those who had applied for NDA 1 exam and are willing to apply for NDA 2 should note that their photograph, signature, choice of Centre & Photo ID provided in the application form will be utilized for allotment of exam centre. Any variation in the details such as photograph/signature/date of birth in two applications may result in the cancellation of candidature for either of the two examinations or both. Candidates are also required to provide their RID number of NDA 1 application form while registering for NDA 2.

NDA 2 exam is conducted for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA for the 146th Course and for 108th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) beginning from July 2, 2021.
