Authorities have commenced the frisking process for entry to CUET 2024 exam centre. The CUET Economics exam will commence at 10 AM. 

Candidates must carry the following documents at the CUET 2024 exam centre:

• CUET 2024 admit card with self declaration form
• Any of the following identity card:
  • Aadhar card
  • Passport
  • Student ID card
  • Voter ID card

Candidates appearing for the CUET UG 2024 exam must follow the exam day guidelines prescribed below:

• Candidates must reach the exam centre two hours prior to the allotted exam time.
• Students must carry the required documents at the exam centre without which candidates will not be permitted to enter the exam centre.
• Follow the dress code prescribed to avoid any last minute cancellation.
• Follow the instructions provided by the invigilator.
• Do not carry any electronic items inside the examination hall.

CUET UG 2024 exam is being conducted in pen and paper mode from May 15 to May 18, 2024. The exam will be held in CBT mode from May 21 to may 24, 2024.

Shiksha has provided unofficial answer key for CUET 2024. Candidates can download the CUET 2024 answer key for English, Chemistry, Biology and General Test at Shiksha's website. However, official NTA CUET 2024 answer key will be released soon after the exams are over.

CUET 2024 exam is being conducted for 13.4 lakh candidates. These candidates have opted for 57,95,211 subject combinations. Of these combinations, 53,91,227 combinations (93%) are being held in offline mode. On May 15, 2024 exam combination for 25,91,014 was conducted successfully.

CUET UG 2024 has been conducted successfully on Day 1. The exam was conducted for CUET English, General Test, Chemistry and Biology at 2,157 centres. A total of 25,91,014 candidates appeared for the exam, marking more than 75% attendance.

NTA will release the updated CUET 2024 hall ticket for Delhi students. Candidates will be able to download the updated admit card for May 16, May 17 and May 18 examinations.

CUET 2024 biology exam analysis is now available based on students' reactions. As per a student Hemant Sharma, the Biology exam was moderate. However, in comparison with UP board exam, the CUET 2024 biology exam was comparatively tough.

Another student Vijay reported that the CUET chemistry exam was comparatively difficult in comparison to the board exams. Topics from the reaction chapter were asked. He was unable to complete the examination on time and wish he could have a better time management.  

Surya Pratap, a student who appeared for the CUET UG Chemistry exam said that the examination was difficult. Further, the student said that questions from organic chemistry were more in comparison with inorganic chemistry. Furthermore, questions from Physical Chemistry were easy. 

As per students' reactions, the overall difficulty level of CUET 2024 chemistry exam was difficult. There were questions from Physical and Organic chemistry. Students reported that a lot of questions were from Aldehyde Amine Alcohol. The students also reported that there were only a few questions were asked from Physical chemistry. 

NTA has successfully concluded the CUET UG 2024 Day 1 Shift 1A with the Chemistry exam. Parents/Guardians are waiting for students to come out of CUET 2024 exam centres. Further, the Day 1 Shift 1B will begin at 12:15 PM today.

The CUET 2024 Chemistry Paper consist of 50 questions out of which 40 questions are required to be attempted. For each correct answer, candidates will receive five marks and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Hence, students are required to attempt 40 questions within a duration of 60 minutes during the chemistry examination.

NTA has notified that candidates having trouble in downloading the latest CUET 2024 admit card must reach the exam centre with already downloaded admit card and appear for the exam.

NTA will conduct the CUET UG 2024 exam today for subjects Chemistry, Biology, English, General Test in 378 cities in India and abroad. Te exam in Delhi for May 15 has been postponed to may 29, 2024.

Candidates will not be permitted to carry the following items at the exam centre:

• Textual items like bits of paper, plastic pouch, pencil/geometry box, pen, calculator, writing pas, scale, earser, pen drive, log table, electronic pen/scanner, etc.
• Communication devices like Bluetooth, mobile phone, microphone, earphones, health band, pager etc.
• Wallets, goggles, belt, handbag, cap, etc.
• Wristwatch/watch, camera, bracelet, etc.
• Any metallic items or ornaments
• Water bottles or any open or packed food items

Candidates will be permitted to carry the following items at the exam centre:

• Printed copy of CUET 2024 admit card
• Self-declaration form
• Any of the Government ID/ School ID
• Transparent water bottle

Candidates must follow the dress code on the day of examination. They should wear simple and light clothing appropriate for the weather and opt for slippers or sandals with low heels for footwear.

Candidates appearing for the exam must check the important exam day guidelines to appear for the exam:

• Check the details mentioned on the admit card
• Arrive at the alloted CUET exam centre at given reporting time. No entry will be allowed later.

NTA informed candidates for downloading the CUET 2024 admit card on May 14, 2024 evening to get the updated exam centre details in case of any management changes. However, this has created anxiety among students appearing for exam on May 15, 2024. Many students have raised concern about delay in updating the CUET exam centre. NTA official stated that "CUET UG is conducted on a large scale, and we had selected several exam centres and invigilators for this process. However, we were facing issues in securing an appropriate number of invigilators in Delhi exam centres for the May 15 exam due to the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. So, NTA has decided to conduct the May 15 exam after elections, i.e., May 29"

NTA has informed that CUET UG 2024 exam for subjects scheduled on May 15 has been postponed to May 29, 2024, for Delhi centres only. The exam will be held as per the schedule in other countries including Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram and Faridabad.
