CUET UG 2025 Registration Issues
National Testing Agency has released CUET UG 2025 application form on 1 March 2025. Candidates planning to appear for CUET 2025 exams can now fill the registration form to be eligible for the exam. This year, candidates can select up to five subjects, including one language, three or four domain subjects, and a general aptitude test. Candidates must check the university-wise CUET subject mapping criteria for their desired course of the target university to decide which test subjects to choose. However, while selecting the CUET UG subjects in the application form, candidates are facing inconvenience as the university-wise subject combination for many universities is not accessible at the NTA CUET official website.
CUET UG 2025 exams will be scheduled from May 8, 2025 to June 1, 2025 in Computer Based Test Mode. NTA will soon release the CUET 2025 exam schedule on the official website. Candidates must regularly visit the website for the latest updates.

Currently, only the subject mapping for central universities is accessible on the official website; cuet.nta.nic.in.
With the CUET 2025 application deadline on March 22, 2025, students are worried about filling out the form as university-wise subject mapping for private, state, deemed, and government universities is unavailable. Without this data, candidates are unsure which test papers to select, affecting their eligibility. Additionally, universities like Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, etc., have yet to update their admission brochures and subject mapping details for 2025-2026 CUET UG admissions, adding to the confusion. NTA needs to resolve the issue quickly so candidates can make informed choices.

Steps to Check CUET UG 2025 University-Wise Subject Mapping
Candidates planning to appear for CUET UG exam for the academic session 2025-2026 can check the university-wise CUET subject combinations for the preferred course and university by following the below steps:
Step 1: Visit the NTA CUET UG 2025 official website; cuet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Navigate ‘Universities’ in the header menu on the homepage.
Step 3: Click on the ‘Universities’ tab. You will see a list of ‘Types of Universities’.
Step 4: Select the type under which your preferred university falls in (central, state, private, deemed, or government).
Step 5: Look for the university for which you would like to check Subject Mapping, and click on the university name.
Step 6: Find the course you want to pursue either by scrolling or using the Ctrl+F function.
The numbers for choosing CUET subjects is five out of the 37 options available.

Section 3- General test
NTA will commence the CUET registrations 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in tentatively in first week of March. Candidates can fill the online CUET application form online on official website when released. Candidates will be able to enter the personal, educational and CUET subject details to appear for the exam. Candidates must pay the CUET application fee to complete the registration process.
