Mid-Entry and Correction Window Updates for UG, PG, and BTech Courses at Delhi University
The University of Delhi (DU) has released fresh admission data for the 2025 academic cycle, revealing significant turnout in its mid-entry and correction window across BTech, UG, and PG programmes. The Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal remains the central platform for admissions into DU's various courses, and the latest figures reflect an intense competition for seats this year.
DU PG Admissions 2025: Over 10,000 Allocated After Mid-Entry
The mid-entry and data correction window for postgraduate programmes attracted 1,806 new applicants, with a total of 10,460 seats allocated in this round:
1,998 candidates received fresh seat allocations.
430 applicants saw an upgrade to a higher preference.
1,731 retained their original choice.
6,730 students chose to freeze their allocation in the same category.
This phase is part of DUβs continued efforts to streamline postgraduate admissions under the CSAS PG 2025 system, ensuring fair allocation and upgrades based on preferences.
DU UG Admissions Phase II: Over 2.65 Lakh Students Register
As Phase II of the DU UG Admissions 2025 kicked off on schedule, the university reported:
2,65,213 students signed up on the CSAS UG portal as of 5:00 PM on July 8.
1,85,791 candidates have successfully completed Phase I.
The next steps for these students include preference filling and seat allocation based on CUET UG scores and category-wise merit.
DU BTech Mid-Entry Update: No Vacancies in Computer Science
In the highly competitive DU BTech admissions 2025, the mid-entry round drew 293 new applications. However:
There are no vacant seats in BTech Computer Science β a clear indicator of its top preference among aspirants.
1 candidate received an upgrade to a higher-preference branch.
203 students were granted new allocations during this phase.
Delhi Universityβs BTech programmes, introduced recently, are already witnessing strong demand, especially for Computer Science, suggesting high cut-offs and limited movement in later rounds.
Candidates should track their respective portals (UG, PG, BTech) under the CSAS 2025 platform to check allocations, freeze or float choices, and upload documents within the specified deadlines. The university is expected to announce further rounds based on vacancy and withdrawals.
