The University Grants Commission (UGC) has urged higher education institutions to disseminate information about the 100th episode of the 'Mann Ki Baat.' Higher educational institutions have been asked to widely display the banners and standees, so that, faculty, staff members and students can dial numbers and record their suggestions in 30 seconds, or they can scan the QR code and submit their suggestions.

"As you are aware, "Mann ki Baat" is an important monthly programme which will complete its l00th episode in April 2023.  On this occasion, MyGov has invited suggestions and ideas from all citizens across the nation to make the initiative more inclusive and magnificent so that it leaves a long-lasting impression. In this regard, it is informed that suggestions can be recorded through MyGov," UGC said in a notification.

The first episode of Mann Ki Baat was aired on October 3, 2014. It will complete 100 episodes on April 30, 2023. Mann Ki Baat is unique in terms of its subject matter, design, interaction, and innovative way of communicating with the people and society as a whole. The PM reaches a wide range of socioeconomically and culturally diverse populations through All India Radio, the largest radio network in the world with 262 stations and more than 375 private and community stations. He inspires and energises them about challenging issues that the world is facing today, such as the climate crisis, waste management, and the energy crisis.
