ANM GNM Exam Dates 2026 comprise an array of events related to the entrance exam. The nursing council of each state is known to conduct the ANM GNM entrance exam for each academic year. The Indian Nursing Council (INC) is the governing body for ANM and GNM programs. The state-wise ANM GNM entrances and their dates will be updated on this page. All About ANM GNM Admission Process 2026
Admission to the ANM GNM programme is not entirely based on the entrance exams. Some states accept the score of the candidates secured in the NEET UG exam or the Class 12th merit. They conduct a counselling process based on the merit secured. Candidates can refer to the complete details for each state by visiting the official website, as mentioned below. Comprehensive guidelines ranging from eligibility criteria, important event dates, the application process, and admission guidelines will be mentioned there. In addition, candidates will also find the list of ANM colleges and GNM colleges separately for their reference. The state conducting body has even bifurcated the colleges between government and private entities.
ANM GNM Admission Criteria 2026
The WB ANM/GNM exam 2025 was held on October 19, 2025. The exam will be conducted in offline mode at the designated test centres in West Bengal. Each candidate will be provided with an OMR sheet. Candidates will have to darken the responses to choose the correct answer. Once a response is marked, it cannot be edited/changed/erased/modified. The entrance exam is conducted once a year by the exam-conducting body.
WBJEEB, the official exam conducting body, released a list of official test center zones where the West Bengal ANM GNM 2025 exam was conducted on October 19, 2025. At the time of filling out the West Bengal ANM GNM application form, candidates had to choose the preferred test center zone out of all the choices available in the vicinity of their home.

This stream provides a comprehensive knowledge of the nursing domain and its relevance in hospital management and patient care. Yes. WBJEEB postponed the exam date to October 19, 2025. WBJEEB did not conduct the WB ANM/GNM exam on the scheduled date i.e. June 29, 2025. The revised exam date was released on September 2, 2025 on the official website. Candidates can check the entire exam schedule as it has been revised for all events.
