UPSSSC PET 2025 Analysis: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is conducting the UPSSSC PET exam 2025 on September 7 in two shifts. This year, over 25.32 lakh candidates registered to appear for the UPSSSC PET recruitment exam. The UPSSSC PET exam pattern consists of a single paper based on objective multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 100 marks. The question paper covers a wide range of subjects. The exam will be conducted in an offline mode. The UPSSSC PET is an eligibility test conducted for the recruitment of Group B and C posts which makes it essential for the candidates to be well-informed about the structure of an exam and content.

Q:   What are the UPSSSC PET 2026 exam dates?
A:

The UPSSSC PET exam dates are not released yet. It will be released along with the notification PDF at upsssc.gov.in. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The compete details about the exam will be mentioned in the notification. The duration of the exam will be two hours. 

 

Q:   How many attempts are allowed for UPSSSC PET exam?
A:

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has not mentioned any limit on the number of times an aspirant can appear in the UPSSSC PET exam. Thus, they can appear in the exam unlimited times till they are fulfilling all the eligibility criteria. It implies that they can attempt the exam until they do not cross the upper age limit as per the category.

UPSSSC PET 2024 exam is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh government as an Eligibility Test for the recruitment of Group B and C posts. It is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the UPSSSC for the recruitment of candidates to various posts in the state government departments and organizations of Uttar Pradesh.

The expected cut off marks for the General Category in the UPSSSC PET exam is between 60 to 65 marks. It will be released category-wise. Those candidates who will score equal to or more that cut off or qualifying marks will be able to apply for the Group C posts.
