Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University provides very liberal entry, because the majority of its programme follows merit basis and hence it admits students after clearing eligibility conditions for most of the programs; that are undergraduate or postgraduate course. And that candidate requires minimum of 50% aggregate in any previously done qualifying examination, however the entire process to make an application is so straightforward; for which he submits the prescribed online application form. He just needs to make payment as a cost toward form that amounts ?600.  For a few courses, such as MA, BA, MLib, etc., admissions are completely based on merit in the last qualifying examination. Students must go through the Panjab University CHD-conducted/ national-level entrances and then appear for the university-level selection rounds for final admission at Panjab University.

The major concerns about the PAU admissions is the seat intake and the fee.
