University Department of Basic and Applied Sciences, MGM University provides admission to BSc courses based on the entrance exam conducted by MGM University, i.e., MGMU CET. Additionally, candidates are required to pass Class 10 and Class 12 from a recognised board to be eligible to apply for BSc. CUET 2026 application form was available on the National Testing Agency's (NTA) website in February for online submission. NTA conducts CUET Entrance Exam each year for giving admission to various UG and PG programmes at multiple universities. 

To apply for St. Xavier's College BSc course, you must have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam from any recognised board. For most BSc courses, it is necessary to have had a Science background at class 12 level. Minimum marks requirement for General category is 45%, while for reserved, it is 40%. Though the admission is merit-based, the process is stringent and the college is not easy to get into.

To be eligible for BSc admissions at KC College, candidates are required to pass Class 12 board exams in th Science stream. However, this is only a requirement for some specialisations of BSc and not a universal requirement for BSc admissions at KC College. Depending on the specialisation of BSc chosen, candidates will need either Mathematics or Mathematics with Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects in Science stream as well.
