• BSc (Computer Science): The candidate should be an Indian Nationality. Class 12 in Science stream with Mathematics subject (OR) Three Years Engineering Diploma Recognized by Government Competent Authority (OR) Passed its equivalent examination with 55% aggregate (50% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).

A total of 38,320 students can do a BSc from Shivaji University at a time. As per official sources, the university has more than 80 affiliated colleges amounting to this huge number of seat intake. Moreover, these seats are allocated to registered candidates based on Class 12 merit or entrance exam score. The selection criteria vary depending on the choice of specialisation.

CUET 2026 application form was available on the National Testing Agency's (NTA) website in February for online submission. NTA conducts CUET Entrance Exam each year for giving admission to various UG and PG programmes at multiple universities. 

To apply for St. Xavier's College BSc course, you must have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam from any recognised board. For most BSc courses, it is necessary to have had a Science background at class 12 level. Minimum marks requirement for General category is 45%, while for reserved, it is 40%. Though the admission is merit-based, the process is stringent and the college is not easy to get into.
