Admission criteria to IIT Gandhinagar is both, merit and entrance based and is different for all UG and PG programmes. To get into UG programmes, the eligibility criteria is the minimum aggregate in Class 12 or equivalent, along with entrance exams. Parul University Vadodara is a private university that was established under the Gujarat Private Universities (Second Amendment ACT and is accredited with an A+ Grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council), NABH, Central Council for Homeopathy, Bar Council of India, and the National Medical Commission. Being a private university, the fee for various courses can be a little high but the students can apply for scholarships offered by the university. The scholarships offered by the university are Cultural Scholarships, Sports Scholarships, and Defence Scholarships.

The Marwadi University and Atmiya University are both relatively new universities founded in 2008 and 2018 respectively. As compared to MU, AU is very new, hence it is still needs to be developed.
