The accepted entrance exams at University of Jammu are JKCET, JEE Main, and others. The mode of University of Jammu course admissions is online. Jammu University BTech admission to various courses is based on entrance exam scores, interview rounds,  and merit. The accepted entrance exams are JKCET, JEE Main,  CUET, and others. Candidates applying through CUET must first visit the official website and register for the CUET exam. Then, appear for the CUET exam. In the next step, students must apply on the Jammu University official website with valid scores. It has campuses spread across India at 41 locations. As the institute is offering courses which are of duration of few weeks basically skill important courses and also of 4 years graduation and 2 years of post graduation the placements also work in that direction and the packages which are offered are also dependent on the qualification that has been earned by the student. Those in the graduation and post graduation bracket are reported to have obtained packages to the tune of 10 lakhs to 15 lakhs per annum. On the other hand, for those students who have just completed courses which have given them some skills, the packages are from INR 100000 to about INR 4 Lakhs per annum.
