Savitribai Phule Pune University  (also known as UNIPUNE, Pune University and SPPU), is a collegiate public state university. The University is located at Pune, was established in 1949 through Poona University Act and is one of the premier universities in India. Recognised by UGC, it is popularly known as the 'Oxford of the East'. The University is accredited ‘A’ grade by NAAC. The admission process at Dr. D.Y. Patil School of Engineering Academy (DYPSOEA) typically follows a merit-based system. Direct admission to DYPSOEA may be possible. You must take and pass the JEE tests for B.Tech or you can go through management quota or CAP rounds. Candidates seeking admission to Ph.D. (Ayurved) and Ph.D. (Engineering) must appear for Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET), conducted by the University.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU Aurangabad) has a very big campus and offers various facilities to postgraduate, undergraduate, and various other course students. Direct admission is not available at Somaiya School of Basic and Applied Sciences. Admissions are strictly based on merit through entrance exams & academic performance. Students must qualify through CUET UG, CUET PG or Somaiya Vidyavihar University Entrance Test (SVUET).
