DY Patil School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics has a placement cell that works closely with students to assist them in obtaining jobs in their desired fields and preparing for placement interviews. The institute has concluded its placement drive for the batch 2022, and a total of 56 UG and 89 PG students were placed during DY Patil School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics placements 2022. Considering the course fee, MSc tuition fee at MIT School of Bioengineering Sciences range from INR 1.9 Lacs to INR 3 lakh. Additionally, the fee for MSc at Symbiosis School of Biological Sciences range from INR 4.8 Lacs and INR 5 lakh. Hence, the fee is slightly higher at Symbiosis.

However, it must be noted that the mentioned fee is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative. Candidates can further also compare the two colleges based on other parameters, such as ranking, placements, location, and more. 

At Dr D. Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute, they provide you the college uniform which you have to wear on specific events like if you are going to attend international conferences and paper presentation. And during regular college days casuals are allowed. At the fresher's party, the dress code for the students was as per the theme- Denims and dresses, cool shades and casual flip-flops.

Overall seats across various courses at The Institute of Science goes up to 300. The Institute of Science offers Degree courses including 13 PG courses. These programs are offerred in Full Time mode.

SRTMUN offer seats to candidates based on national/ state-level entrance exam or merit in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants are first required to register for the course of their choice via online mode. SRTMUN shortlists candidates based on state-level entrance exams such as MAH B.Ed CET, MAH MBA CET, MHT CET, etc. for admission to specific courses.

The university conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to programmes such as BSc, MSc, etc. For all others, merit in the last qualifying exam is considered for admission. The university releases a merit list to announce the names of the selected candidates. Shortlisted aspirants must pay the programme fee to confirm their seat in the university.
