DY Patil School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics has a placement cell that works closely with students to assist them in obtaining jobs in their desired fields and preparing for placement interviews. The institute has concluded its placement drive for the batch 2022, and a total of 56 UG and 89 PG students were placed during DY Patil School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics placements 2022. However, the institute has not released its 2023 placement details as of now. MIT School of Bioengineering Sciences and Research offers admission to the MSc course on a merit-basis. Hence, for admission, it is necessary that the aspirant fulfils the course-specific eligibility requirements. Candidates with a BSc degree passed with at least 50% aggregate can apply. However, the aspirants can also contact the admission office to enquire about the direct admission under management quota (if available). 

At Dr D. Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute, they provide you the college uniform which you have to wear on specific events like if you are going to attend international conferences and paper presentation. And during regular college days casuals are allowed. At the fresher's party, the dress code for the students was as per the theme- Denims and dresses, cool shades and casual flip-flops.
