The best college in our Latur city.

Placements: The highly represented CGP students were placed in other international and national companies. The highest package offered for students was minimum 8 LPA. The most famous and highly companies were offered internships. The course study was about the entire IT industry.

Infrastructure: I am not joining this college hostel and mess but I know that mess and hostel provide the best features for the students. Hostel also provided Wi-Fi, mess, lab, etc. This hostel was available. The mess and college hostel conducted a function for the students.

Faculty: Teachers of the college were best. All madam and sir were very honest and sincere. Teachers were solving doubts. Teaching quality and quantity were best. If you studied properly then you also passed with good CGP.

Other: Every passing out batch was telling everyone that the college was the best in Latur city. The college was mostly used for middle-class students because the college fee was affordable.

Placements: 80% of students are placed. The highest package in 2025 is 7.2 LPA, and the lowest is 3.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, and many more. Students got internships from Intershala and LinkedIn. Top roles offered are software developer, web developer, and app developer.

Infrastructure: There are mainly three buildings. The campus has 22 acres of land. This campus is in the main city near the bus stand. Hostels for both boys and girls are available. It costs nearly Rs 22,000 to Rs 25,000 per year. Hostel is moderate with double or triple sharing rooms. Wi-Fi is also available.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. There is additional faculty for junior college. It is an autonomous college so exams are conducted by college, only 45 marks out of 100 are required for passing. This college mainly focuses on practical-based study rather than traditional classroom teaching.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious, fully furnished, and equipped with necessary teaching aids. We have well-maintained, well-equipped laboratories that cater to practical learning needs. Campus offers high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity, which is accessible to students for academic purposes. Our library is quite large, with a vast collection of textbooks, reference materials, and journals. Additionally, there is a huge playground and sports facilities that support physical well-being and recreational activities.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. They are generally supportive and willing to help students with doubts and guidance when approached. Curriculum covers the essential theoretical and practical aspects of the field, making it academically relevant. Placements: I am a B.Tech Computer Science student at SGGS Nanded. In our batch, around 90% of students got placed. Highest salary package offered is 21 LPA. Lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. And average salary package is around 6.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included TCS Digital, Infosys, Capgemini, LTI, Cognizant, and ZS Associates. Around 70% of students secured internships in companies like Persistent, Barclays, and startups. Top roles offered are Software Developer, Data Analyst, System Engineer, and Backend Developer. Overall, placement scenario for CSE at SGGS is quite strong, especially for students with good technical and coding skills.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure for the Computer Science course at SGGS Nanded is decent. Department has well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, and access to a central library with good reference books and study material. Hostels have basic facilities, and rooms are shared. Mess food is average, but the canteen offers better options. Medical facilities are available on campus with a health center. Sports grounds are well-maintained, and students actively participate in football, cricket, badminton, and indoor games. While infrastructure can be improved in some areas, overall, it's good enough for academics and personal development for a government college.

Faculty: Faculty for Computer Science at SGGS Nanded is generally helpful and knowledgeable, with most professors holding M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees. Teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher, but core subjects are well-taught. Other: I chose Computer Science at SGGS Nanded due to my interest in coding and its strong placement record. Best thing about the course is the coding culture and peer learning environment. Students actively participate in hackathons, coding contests, and clubs. However, more industry exposure and project-based learning would improve it further. College hosts events like Weaves, Vishwakarma, and departmental fests. Campus crowd is friendly, with students from across Maharashtra. SGGS offers scholarships, and extracurricular activities are encouraged. Campus is peaceful, and the connectivity to Nanded city is decent. Overall, it's a good place to grow academically.

It is good, but not good according to us.

Placements: The college does not offer placements. If students only want a degree, then they can join this college only for a degree, but not for placements. The college is only for the degree and not for the placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but it's too old. The library staff is not good. The reading room is very bad. Major things are very bad here, but some things are good. According to students' goals, they can select this college.

Faculty: The course curriculum is not completed before some semester exams. Some teachers complete the syllabus, but some only do timepass. They bunk the lectures for their own reason, so students are also doing that is the main problem of the college. Some teachers are extraordinary, and some only do the time pass.

SGGS Nanded is the unbeatable and upcoming IIT Nanded.

Placements: The placements at my college are average, and the highest offers mentioned on the website are all off-campus. The average package is around 5-7 LPA and is offered to most of the students. The placements for core branches are higher compared to CS/IT, and the CS/IT domain is very saturated. Everything else depends on the skills you have today.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good; the hostel premises are clean and well-maintained. However, the hostel mess is subpar, and the food is somewhat hygienic but contains a lot of oil. On some days, the mess food is good. Overall, I can say that the mess food is worth the fee we pay, which is around 22000, and you won't get such facilities at a lower cost.

Faculty: The curriculum is very challenging, which makes the exams tough as well. However, one thing I want to mention is that the curriculum is not up to date with recent industry trends. The teachers are very knowledgeable, and in the EXTC department, all faculty members are from IIT and have completed their PhDs.

Other: The events are excellent, such as Pragyaa, which is a technical event held at the national level, and Zenith, which is a sports event also held at the national level. The sports facilities at our college are top-notch, with the grounds equipped with great sports amenities like floodlights, and a well-lit, safe environment with security guards throughout the campus.
