Admissions to NEHU Shillong is offered on the basis of merit and valid scores of accepted entrance exams. Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate in Class 12 for admission to UG level courses. Whereas, for PG level courses, candidates must secure valid scores in accepted entrance exams such as JEE Main, CUET UG/PG, CAT/MAT/AIMA and other national-level examinations suitable for the chosen course.  

William Carrey University is a private institution established in 1892 in Meghalaya, Shillong. This university in Shillong was established in 2005 by the Government of Meghalaya and named after William Carey, a renowned English Baptist missionary. The admission procedure of UG and PG courses in USTM starts with passing the eligible criteria laid out by the University. The candidates have to fill the online application form either online or offline. After filling the application form candidates have to be submit it  along with the required documents and the application fee. Later Merit list is released by the University which will further confirm the admission.

 NIT Meghalaya offeres MSc in full time under three specialisations, as follows

• Physics
• Chemistry 

• Mathematics

The programme is offered via choice-based credit system covering core subject topics, including Organic Chemistry, Symmetry & Group Theory, Molecular Spectroscopy, etc. Students can get into the MSc course based on a valid score on the IIT JAM exam and the counseling conducted by the Centralized Counseling for MSc CCMN

CMJ University applications are currently open. Candidates can download the application form from the university's website. The admissions are held twice in a year. The spring session commences in January and fall session in July. Aspirants have to fill out the application form in their own writing in English for the preferred course.
