Gauhati University offers admission on the basis of merit acquired in the last qualifying exam, and entrance scores. To get admission to Guwahati University, candidates must fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria. For UG courses, candidates must have qualified Class 12 from any recognised national or state board with the specified minimum aggregate. Similarly, for PG courses, candidates must have completed graduation with the specified minimum aggregate from any recognised university/ institute.
