Best research Institute in the world.
Placements: This course provides research, and that's what most students pursue for higher education rather than pursuing a job. That is why here, there is no average package, but I can tell you the median package that was offered is 18 LPA according to the data for 2021-2022 and 8 LPA for 2022-2023. Recruiting companies are Adobe, Oswal, and many more. 90-100 percent of students got internships at research institutions. The top roles offered to students are research analysts, researchers, and scientists.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good, with best-class facilities. The 3 Gbps Wi-Fi network, and labs are very good, and even the computer lab is also very good. The classroom is also very good with smartboard facilities and projectors. The food quality is also very good, but the problem here is that the spiciness is very low.
Faculty: Professors are very helpful, well-qualified, and with the best knowledge. The teaching quality is very good, and they provide extra time after the class for doubt sessions. The course curriculum for mathematics is such that it focuses on developing skills rather than just learning.
Other: This college is the only place where both research and industry experience are gainable due to faculty members from diverse backgrounds in mathematics, and that's what I want, so I chose it. All things are better, but I only want the entrepreneurship cell here, which is not here.

Best institute for research.
Placements: IISER Thiruvananthapuram has a median salary package of 18 LPA. Top companies that recruit students are Adobe and TCS, as well as many research institutions. About 75% of students are placed for higher studies, and the remaining students are employed. Approximately 100% of the students get internships, and the top roles offered are scientist, research associate, and data scientist.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at IISER TVM is very good. The Wi-Fi speed is 3 Gbps, the labs are well maintained, and construction of the library is ongoing. The hostel has good facilities, including double occupancy rooms with beds, study tables, and almirahs. The food is of good quality and overall the hostel is very hygienic.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified. They all have Master's degrees and Ph.D.s from great universities like Oxford, Cambridge, and Stanford. The course curriculum is relevant, and the course is helpful for those who are interested in research, academia, and industry. The semester exams are easy if you study continuously. The overall pass percentage is 90-95%, and the subject-wise pass percentage is 80-90%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to learn data science as well as mathematics, and only IISER offers data science with research. From 2024 onwards, IITs started offering it, but I had to choose a college in 2023, so I chose IISER. The things that could be better at this college are the placement cell, the salary packages, the finance department, the coding clubs, and the entrepreneurship cell. There are many scholarships available.

Best research institute in the world and top class education.
Placements: In my batch, there are 300 students. They are from different states and have very good hobbies in different fields of science. Approximately, 70% of students get placed in higher education and others are doing R and D jobs. Adobe, TCS, and other companies visit the college to recruit students. Top roles offered are data analyst, data handling, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available 24/7 with 3,000 Mbps. There are good and well-maintained labs. Our course labs have very good quality computers like i7. In my hostel, each room has a table, one bed, and a cupboard. The food quality is very good and hygienic. There are many games like badminton, basketball, football, cricket, etc.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members did their master's and Ph.D. from abroad renowned institutions abroad like Oxford, MIT, etc. The course curriculum is very good and relevant. It makes students industry-ready for the maths department. The pass percentage depends. The maths pass percentage is low compared to other departments because this course is tough and they want to use their mind. If they are able to do that, semester exams are easy.
Other: I chose this course because I want to learn mathematics for industry as well as research. Only IISER TVM provides this opportunity. Even IITs are not providing maths for both research and industry. Everything is good in our course, the only thing I want is the E-cell. The financial department and other things are not there. Our college conducts many events like Ishya Fest. It provides many scholarships. I got an Inspire Scholarship.

IISER: Beautiful College for Pure Science Research.
Placements: IISER TVM has just started its placement cell. But with that being said, good placement offers are coming. However, IISER is a Science Institute where research into pure Science is given importance. So, most students go abroad for Ph.D. And of course, there are many who opt for the civil service and Jobs as well. Most students do internships during the summer break, starting from their first year. In fact, internships are encouraged even if there are no credits for it for the foundation years. top roles that people go for in Maths and Data Science backgrounds are Data Science Researcher, Investment Banking, etc.
Infrastructure: IISER TVM is one of the most beautiful campuses in India. The infrastructure is really good, with good AC classrooms that are smart and have Wi-Fi connections. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are housed in separate buildings, and a new block is coming up for math. A new library is also being built. Hostels are also quite good, with free Wi-Fi 24/7. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. There is no curfew time for entering the hostels for all students except first-year students. Boys are allowed inside the girls hostel and vice versa until 11 pm. The mess is student-run and is quite good for a college mess. Student-run in the sense that the mess committee, comprised of students, only hire the workers and decides the menu and allots budget. So if you feel the menu is bad, join the mess committee and make a difference. There is a health centre and indoor stadium. There is also a basketball court, football court, volleyball court, etc.
Faculty: The faculty are top-class scientists and researchers in their own fields. The exams will be a different experience, and it is not the traditional way of thinking. Instead of mugging up topics, application-based questions are encouraged. This might seem new in the first year, but you will quickly adapt. The TAs and faculty are quite helpful. Seniors also do help. Since it is a fully residential campus, everyone who is free will lend you a hand. The course curriculum is relevant, and the teaching is quite good. Whether the exams are easy or tough will depend on how well you studied that semester and how the professor makes the question paper. But don't worry, as the grading is comparative. The median is decided based on everybody's marks, and the grades are decided based on the median.

My honest review of my college.
Placements: Many multinational companies came forward to select students with good curriculum vitae. Our college also provided internships to students who were willing to work in the science field. My overall experience of studying at IISER was very good, and we received a stipend of Rs.5,000 per month.
Infrastructure: There was no hostel facility in the college. It was located in a prime area of Jabalpur where lots of coaching classes, hotels, and PGs were available at very economical rates, which were hard to find anywhere. There was a small.
Faculty: Faculty members were well-educated and well-behaved. All faculty members had great knowledge. Each student was assigned a particular faculty member called a faculty advisor. These faculty members helped students to study and improve in academics. The exams were application-based and tested critical thinking ability. The curriculum was highly focused on providing advanced knowledge in the respective field. The course was associated with practice and practicals to ensure deep understanding. The exams were application-based and tested critical thinking ability.
