B.Sc. B.Ed. - Batch of 2027

Study-wise it's good but don't hope for placements.
Placements: Student's placement is quite average. The highest package is 8 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. All the students of B.Sc. and B.Ed get unpaid internships in government as well as private colleges. Top roles offered to my course are teacher, scientist, professor, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, Wi-Fi is available, and classrooms are also good. Library is well-equipped, and advanced technology is being used to keep records. University lacks sports and games. Medical facilities are average. Canteen lacks vegetarian items.
Faculty: There are eminent teachers in our university who are permanent faculty members. Teachers are very cooperative, knowledgeable, qualified, and helpful. The curriculum is relevant, it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate to tough. Pass percentage is 40%.
Other: It would have been better if the course hadn't been self-financed. Studying in Central University of Jharkhand, we as students thought that the B.Sc. B.Ed. is not self-financed, and during the admission process or before admission, any information regarding the self-financed course is not provided.

Absolutely dissatisfied with faculty members.
Placements: There is no placement here. In the case of a package, there is no package offered. There are no companies that visit for recruitment. 50% of students got internships. Internships have been provided in education. Maximum roles offered are professor, dean, coordinator, and HOD. In other departments, placements are available.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available but lab facilities are not in this department. There are less classrooms here. Sports and games are available in the department. There are no science honours faculty members. In case of medical facilities, for a certain period of time, doctors are available. But nurse is available.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified for B.Ed paper but science teachers are less. Guest faculty members are there for science stream. Passing percentage is good, minimum of 8 CGPA to 10 CGPA. Course curriculum frameworks are best that all cover at M.Sc. level also. Proper teaching is not there.
Other: Both degrees are getting in 4 years, one year is a rest. The thing that is improved at CUJ is the permanent faculty members for science stream, that's why students are so happy, and in future there are no difficulties.

No hostel for education department.
Placements: Placement is almost none in this course. But it prepares you for the TET so that you can pass examinations and give exams and interviews in organisations like Kendriya Vidyalaya and Navodaya School and Government State Government schools in this course. Last year, you got an internship in either private or government school. For 4 months as a teacher that is not a way to get placement in that organisation.
Infrastructure: University infrastructure is almost very good. Almost every class has smart board projectors and sound system along with traditional boards. Physics lab, chemistry lab, computer labs are available. Excellent Wi-Fi service is available. But for this education course, hostel is not available. B.Ed students are not eligible for hostel facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are highly knowledgeable and well-qualified. Almost every teacher has doctorate, and few of them have post doctoral degree also. Few are very helpful while few only care about their duty and curriculum. Curriculum is well-designed by experts and follows UGC guidelines. Exams are moderate. It contains written, practical, and presentation parts.
Other: I chose this course because it was the only university that was providing this integrated program at that time. If anyone wants to have a career in research field and normal jobs as teachers and other designations, then this course is good for you. Few cultural fests are celebrated. Sports events are also celebrated.

Not bad and not very good.
Placements: I am a student of an integrated B.Sc. B.Ed 2023 batch. The majority of students in our course is approximately 180. In 7th semester, an internship also occurs in government or private school for a duration 6 months. After completion of this course, you may find a job in a private school.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the department is good. There are many rooms for teaching. Every room has a smart board, and Wi-Fi is also provided by department. Sports scope is good in our department mainly in volleyball and cricket, both for girls and boys. Library is also present in the university.
Faculty: Faculty members of our course are good. All are highly qualified. Teachers also help to crack competitive exams like CTET or state TET exams. The difficulty of exam is not much. In 2 credit paper, 30 mark is written, and 11 mark is the passing mark. In 60 mark paper, 25 is passing mark.
Other: I want to share information about the hostel facility, for my course (B.Sc. B.Ed), no hostel is allotted for students. There is another course at my university. Festival and Independence Day, or any other special occasion also celebrated at the university.

The campus is around 500 acres, very scenic, and full of nature.
Placements: The total strength in B.Sc. B.Ed was 50 seats. The internship is placed in government schools so that the future teachers will be trained and will gain good experience. Almost every student gets an internship. The internship is not paid; rather, it is for experience purposes.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available. There are separate hostels for boys and girls, and separate buildings for UG and PG students too. There is a dispensary that is available for the students. Mess facilities are also provided with good-quality food.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and provide guidance. Examinations are held in a centralized manner with proper strictness. During the exams, the teachers guide in a proper way and help the children with their doubt-solving process. Attendance is mandatory, meaning 75% is compulsory, and if anyone fails to attain the percentage, then he/she is not allowed to attend the semester exams.

I am satisfied with my college curriculum, faculty support, and improvement in placement record.
Placements: About 40 percent of students get placed. The highest package for engineering is 5 LPA. MBA has the highest package of 12 LPA and core course placement varies from 4 to 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tisko, Bajaj, Byju's, etc. If we talk about my course, internships happen in the 7th semester.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi is available throughout the campus. Classrooms are fully equipped with technology, and the library has a sufficient amount of books for all students. Food quality is above average. A medical facility for all students is available. Sports and game facilities are quite good at CUJ.
Faculty: Faculty are quite supportive. All faculty have foreign exposure. The course curriculum is aligned with UGC guidelines. Semester exams are tough but all topics are taught in classroom and questions are asked from classroom notes. The passing percentage is 40 percent. There are two types of tests: one sessional and one semester.

Satisfactory teaching quality, placements are not good, and infrastructure is average.
Placements: There is an entire batch of 80 students, but the placements that took place is not according to that amount. Almost 4-5 schools visit for the recruitment and the average salary offered is Rs. 20,000-25,000 per month. Students are mostly selected to teach 6-8 class students.
Infrastructure: As this is a government college, the mess food is not up to the mark but still far better than the rest of the colleges. There is a Wi-Fi facility during our tenure, but recently from this year onwards, they not provide any Wi-Fi usage. There are medical facilities in the college. There is also a good library in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are good during our tenure, but the only issue is that since we are B.Sc. B. Ed students, we had to collaborate with other departments to study. Teaching quality of teachers is pretty good, but more expected from the college. The curriculum is relevant, but they teach us a lot of subjects which could have been excluded.

If you are not getting into any other college, then you should look for this.
Placements: There were no placement opportunities in the B.Sc. B.Ed stream. We only heard about internships, but nothing actually happened.
Infrastructure: Facilities were quite average. If anyone was looking for this college and wanted hostel facilities, they had to compromise on the food. The Wi-Fi was also not good. It worked sometimes and sometimes did not. The water facility was also not good enough. The hostel facilities and food quality were poor. The location was also very bad. Although this was a central university, some state colleges were better than this.
Faculty: You could not say that all teachers were good or bad. In some departments, teachers were good, like in Mathematics and Zoology, but the other departments were not good enough. If you wanted to score well, you had to do 70% of the work yourself.

Appearance and securing good rank in CUET UG is mandatory requirement for getting admission in integrated programs of CUJ. So you can't get direct admission here.

Yes, you can apply for integrated course of B.Sc plus B.Ed. The admission will start most probably in the next month. You should fill up the registration form from official website. As you have scored 60% in class 12th, so you are eligible to take admission. Best of luck.
