Nice and has a huge campus.
Placements: Our batch has about 100 in B.Sc. with chemistry, botany, and zoology combination. They are divided into 2 sections. As I am a second-year student, I don't have much information about placements. Our seniors told us that placement opportunities are available.
Infrastructure: The Campus was huge and have separate departments for each subject with Laboratories. College has its own Library where a student can go and do self study and can even take books. College has its own gym which a student can join. However the building are getting holder and need preparing.
Faculty: The faculty of the department is qualified and has good knowledge of subjects. The semester consists of 2 mid-exams and an end-semester exam. You have to be present in both mid-exams, otherwise you are not allowed to attempt the end-semester examination.

Moderately satisfied with the faculty, infrastructure and internship.
Placements: This course does not have placement. This course is an internship for 1 year at Kendriya Vidyalaya. This internship gives me the experience of teaching. The internship has a duration of 6 months. Students perform tasks like qualitative teaching with projects and working models.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. There are 2 hostels for the UG course. Hostels have good infrastructure and mess facilities are provided in hostels. One room has 2 beds, 2 desks, 2 chair and 2 racks for arranging stuff. Community washrooms are there. There are places like tennis rooms, gyms, and common points.
Faculty: Faculty are really cooperative and helpful. The curriculum contains all the required content for an integrated course. Semester exams are at a moderate level. And passing marks are above 40 out of 100. Semester is divided into three sections: A, B, and C. Section A is worth 10 marks, Section B is worth 20 marks, and Section C is worth 30 marks.
Other: There are seminars organized by all the departments. Fests like Gour Mahotsav are celebrated.

It is an excellent college.
Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in this course. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Byjus, Dhristi, etc. Around 100% of students got internships in this course.
Infrastructure: Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The speed of the internet is good. Laboratories are decent. Classrooms are well-maintained. There is a decent library and several books are available. The food quality is great.
Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced. The teaching quality is good. Semester exams are very tough. The pass percentage is 50%. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. This college provides in-depth knowledge to students. The fee structure of this course is budget-friendly.

Absolutely satisfied because of the minimal course fees, good infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: There is no placement in my course, particularly in B.Sc B.Ed (CUET). I'm sorry, I don't know the highest and lowest packages offered in my course, as there is no placement. All students get internships (100%), but there is no salary for them. The top role includes a teacher.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. There is no lab in the Education department. Classrooms are well-maintained with AC. There is a library in our department with high-cost books. Hostel facilities are very good. The quality of food is also good with four-time food service. The fees are also minimal compared to other hostels. Medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They have a very kind nature. The quality of teaching is also good. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are of a moderate to high level. The pass percentage is 80.
Other: As I'm interested in the teaching field and I enjoy spending time with children, this course suits me well. The best thing about this course is that it prepares us for our future. It is very relatable to society and includes practical experience.

Q:   What is the effectiveness of the placement cell for BCom programmes at Dr Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya?
    A:

Based on the verified Shiksha reviews and comments from students and alumni of Dr Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, here's an assessment of the placement cell's effectiveness:

    • Limited Placements: Many reviewers mentioned that only 20% to 40% of students are placed through the college's placement cell, which may indicate limited job opportunities.
    • Low Packages: Some students reported receiving low salaries ranging from INR 15,000 to INR 30,000 per month, which may not be competitive in the market.
    • No Internship Opportunities: None of the reviewers mentioned participating in internship programmes through the college, which may impact students' employability skills.

While some students did manage to secure jobs through self-effort, the overall picture suggests room for improvement in the placement cell's performance.
