1. Appear for the CUET (UG) Exam:
   • You must register for the CUET (UG) exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
   • For the B.A. (Hons) Hindi programme at JMI, it is mandatory to have appeared for the Hindi Language subject (from Section IA of CUET).
2. Select JMI During CUET Application:
   • When filling out the CUET application form on the official NTA CUET website, ensure you select "Jamia Millia Islamia" in the university preference list.
   • Select "B.A. (Hons) Hindi" as your chosen programme at JMI.
3. Fulfill Eligibility Criteria:
   • You must have passed the Class 12th or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.
   • A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination is generally required (relaxation may be available for reserved categories).
4. Apply Separately to JMI:
   • After the NTA declares the CUET results, you must register separately on the official Jamia Millia Islamia admission portal.
   • You will need to provide your CUET application number and scores during this registration process.
5. Merit List and Counselling:
   • JMI will prepare a merit list based on the CUET (Hindi subject) scores of candidates who registered on their portal.
   • If your name appears on the merit list, you will be invited for the online/offline counseling session and document verification process.
