Absolutely yes. Every year, BTech graduates from Mysore colleges successfully clear GATE and secure admissions in top institutions like IITs, NITs, and VTU itself for M.Tech programmes.
Apart from M.Tech admissions, a good GATE score also opens the door to PSU (Public Sector Undertaking) jobs in organisations like BHEL, NTPC, ONGC, BSNL, and KPTCL.

For getting into top NITs like NIT Trichy or NIT Warangal in popular branches like CSE, students generally need a percentile of 98.5 or above. For other branches and lower-ranked NITs, a percentile of 90 to 95 may be sufficient. The specific cutoff changes from year to year depending on the number of applicants and how tough the exam was. You'll have to figure this out by looking at the previous years' cutoffs on the JoSAA website.
