Hi,
Ideally, you can. Since you must have had PCM as the main subjects. However, since it would be a stream change you have to first convince the university/college why you want to pursue aeronautical engineering after computer engineering. Very good hold in physics and maths will be required. You must also take the SAT or ACT depending where you want to study. Browse through university websites for admission requirements and contact them before applying them. An email is enough and they will respond.

CSE has more scope in India but every branch is good, go for the branch in which you have a keen interest.

No NIT offers a course in aeronautical / aerospace engineering. Only IITs offer this course.

Hello Ranjith,
As per your cut-off, it is very difficult to get a seat at Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai for aeronautical engineering.
This year the seats are getting filled faster and the students who have a top cut off have increased.
So, if you have alteast 195-196 cut-off only, you can get a seat.
