Aeronautical engineering is the specialized branch of engineering for the aviation industry. It involves studying, designing, construction and Science of the airplanes and other spacecraft. This branch uses the Science of propulsion and aerodynamics. In order to be a successful Aeronautics engineer, you must be alert, have an eye for detail and a high level of mathematical precision for success.
This branch mainly deals with the technology, business and other aspects related to aircraft. One of the significant parts in aeronautical engineering is a branch of physical Science called aerodynamics. It deals with motion of air and the way in which it interacts with objects in motion, such as an aircraft.
Aeronautical Engineering is the Science or art which is involved with the study, design, and manufacturing of air flight-capable machines, and the techniques of operating aircraft and rockets .Basically, it is the Science of operating the aircraft and related technology.
The core subjects of Aeronautical Engineering are as follows:
1) Fluid Dynamics
2) Materials sciences
3) Structural Analysis
4) Propulsion
5) Automatic Control and Guidance
6) Aircraft Performance and Aircraft Structures.

Do you look up to the sky every time you hear the sound of an airplane? Do you wonder how does it fly? Do you see birds flying over your head in a formation? Do you see planes different than most of the people?
If answers to all the above questions and or in relevance to them is yes, then yes it is worth doing engineering in aeronautics.
I am not sure which country you belong to, but I belong to India and I accept being an aeronautical engineer in India is a unique but difficult thing. Though it is difficult, challenging, new but has got so much scope. It's just about 100 years old field and there are many things need to be done. Most of the people are not really aware of it here in the middle east. Even if you are in a country where aviation is spreading fast, there is no harm to pursue the career in this field which is full of passion, interests and dreams.
