AME is basically aircraft technician course and is a first step toward an aircraft technician. second step is to get specific aircraft Type-certification. Demand varies trade wise, for example electrical trade is more in demand compared to air-frame technician. Demand also varies based on type of aircraft, for example, Boing-777 will vae more demand compared to Dornier or Airbus. Gulf countries operate large airlines, therefore there demand is more compared to say Australia or Singapore.
