* Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech in Aeronautical engineering :
You need to complete 12th with minimum 60% (Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry) from recognized board to join good college. However, there are colleges which take students who have scored 45% - 50%. Your age must be between 17-23 years. You need to appear in entrance exam.

* Aircraft maintenance engineers (AME) work in the engineering and maintenance department of an airline to ensure the availability of a safe and airworthy aircraft for an airline.
* A course in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is not a degree but a license course and only those institutes approved by the DGCA can impart training in this subject.
This training course is rigorous and only a few institutes offer training on heavy aircraft and jet engines. Total training cost will be around 1.5 lakh.
