B.Tech in aeronautical is a better choice than AME. There is no particular entrance exam for AME.

You can work in Aviation Industries after doing Aeronautical Engineering in various fields like Ground control, Designing, Manufacturing and testing or even research. Academic fees for Aeronautical Engineering at Manipal University is 2.75 lakhs per annum.

You may clear state/national level engineering entrance examinations with a good score for admissions to a B Tech/BE programme in IITs or reputed engineering colleges.
