Diploma holders in Aeronautics work as technicians in the Engineering department. Employment is available with Air India, Pawan Hans, Helicopter Corporation of India and flying clubs, private airlines and government-owned air service.
Airlines Aeronautical Mechanics get employment in organisations such as Hindustan Aeronautical Ltd, Defence Research and Development Laboratories, National Aeronautical Lab, Aeronautical Develop¬ment Establishment, Civil Aviation Department etc.

being Computer Science grad u can opt for Control & Navigation or Avionics branch of Aerospace Engineering.Many of MS Degrees provides flight training too with CPL License as minor subject.

After B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering, there are lots of job opportunities available in India as well as in foreign countries.
- You may work for large aviation companies such as Airbus, Boeing and even NASA.
- You can get employed by ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) and the Defense Ministry.
- You can also look for jobs available with the Civil Aviation Department, National Aeronautical Laboratory, Defense Research and Development Laboratories (DRDO) and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).
Aerospace engineers are in great need in aircraft industrialized divisions, airline industries and air turbine production plants
