AFCAT result is prepared using the normalisation process. This is done to adjust the difficulty level of the question papers. The exam is conducted in multiple shifts. Total marks allotted to the exam are 300.

At times due to the heavy load at the server, AFCAT result login window takes time to load. In such case, candidates must keep patience and try to download the result within certain interval of time. AFCAT result can be checked online only. The scorecard can be accessed along with the result. The scorecard can be downloaded by logging with the required credentials. AFCAT scorecard displays the marks secured in the exam.

AFCAT result will be announced online only. There is no facility to check the result offline. The link to check AFCAT result will be made available on the official website of IAF. Candidates can download their results by logging with the required credentials. Candidates qualifying the online test of AFCAT are called for AFSB interview. Normalisation process is followed to calculate the scores.

The minimum good score for AFCAT exam 165-175. Candidates need to secure the required score inorder to qualify the exam. Candidates qualifying the online exam are called for AFSB Interview. Candidates need to practice well inorder to qualify the exam.

AFCAT 2 admit card 2025 was released on August 19. Candidates can download their admit cards online by logging with the required credentials. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post.

The annual package offered to AFCAT officers depends upon their rank and years of service. All AFCAT officere, receive a starting salary of Rs 56,100 - Rs 1,77,500 annually. Alongwith, they also get a fixed monthly allowance of Rs 15,500. There are dearness allowance and other allowances as well. AFCAT officers get allowances like:

Candidates who wish to join the Indian Air Force's Flying Branch must normally meet certain educational requirements before taking the CDS (Combined Defence Services) or AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test). For both tests, a candidate must have at least 60% in their Bachelor's degree and have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as obligatory courses. Because you have less than 50 marks in 12th Maths and Physics, you may not match the Indian Air Force's basic eligibility requirements. Applicants may apply for the AFA exam if they have passed their graduation exams. Additionally, they have the option to apply through the twice-yearly CDS test.
