-Physical requirements - Height for Air Hostesses - minimum of 157.5 cm and Flight Pursers 163 cm with proportionate weight. -Graduates is a compulstion for international airlines in the age group of 19-25 years for training. Preference is given to Degree or Diploma holders in Hotel Management/Tourism. -Female candidates from Home Science background, fulfilling other requirements, are also preferred. International Airlines recruit flight attendant in the age group

The eligibility criteria for air hostess:
One needs to pass plus two/ or a graduate degree with a Diploma/degree in Hotel Management or Tourism Management. -The aspirant must be eligible to hold an Indian Passport and should be below twenty-five years of age with a minimum height of 157.5 centimeters. The weight should be in proportion to height. -One must be unmarried, with normal eyesight of 6/6 uncorrected vision in each eye. -Fluency in English, Hindi and knowledge of an international language is an added advantage. Flight attendents ensure that emergency equipment is working, there is cleanliness, adequate supply of food and beverage. Cabin crew provide excellent customer service which ensures their comfort and safety. Air hostess are also called flight attendents who are responsible to demonstrate the safety procedure.
