AKTU BA admissions are done on merit basis. The basic eligibility requires the candidates to pass Class 12 or its equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 45%. Hence, you can certainly apply for the AKTU BA course admission even if you have scored less than 60% in your Class 12 boards. However, there is no guarantee of admission as the university considers various parameters at the time of selecting the students for the course. In case a student is unable to get admission at the university, they can check out various other colleges and institutes offering online BA courses.

AKTU BTech admission is entrance-based and done based on JEE Mains and UPTAC. The minimum percentage required in Class 12 to apply for the course ranges between 45% and 75%. Hence, 60% is a safe score in most cases, as long as you also clear the selection criteria. In case a candidate does not score enough, or wants to consider other options for BTech admissions, they can always opt for other colleges offering online BTech courses.

In case you have registered with an outdated OBC certificate for AKTU, there is a chance your registration might be stopped or nullified since the newly issued one is still in the processing or updating stage. The caste status verification usually requires a valid and up-to-date OBC certificate which is either 6 months old or one year old for AKTU. Putting in an old certificate could create trouble. Try explaining the matter to AKTU officials and also give evidence that your new document is underway. Be ready with the paperwork and go ahead to submit the replacement whenever it comes through.
