RMIT is a good University, the criteria for admission is B.Arch and they may also require you to submit a portfolio. Also, no university abroad does placements like they do in India. However, they may assist you in finding one.

Yes, you can pursue if you've mathematics or statistics in your 12th. To get admission in B.Plan/B.arch colleges, you need to have valid & qualified NATA Merit. Cut-off varies from college to college. Some colleges also accepts admission through Board merit or have their individual entrances. Top colleges to pursue this course are UPES School of Planning & Architecture, School of Planning and Architecture Bhopal, Manipal university to name a few. Both of the courses (B.Des & B.Arch) are very good. Both of them have their own advantages. It mainly depends on what career are you looking into.

There are many other courses like civil engineering, interior designing and architectural assistant ship.

Every state has renowned colleges and universities catering to almost every branch. So, courses shouldn't be compared state wise.

The eligibility criteria would be different for each university. However, along with the application, students need to attach their high school certificates, mark sheets, SAT/ACT scores if required and the application fee.
