No, students cannot get direct admissions in AFMC Pune. It offers UG, PG & PhD level courses. The admission to any courses is subject to its eligibility criteria and cut off released by the college. For most of the courses related to medical field like MBBS, students need the score of entrance exams like NEET.

To get admission in the AFMC BSc nursing programme, candidates must apply for the NEET UG exam. It is mandatory to appear for the NEET UG exam to be eligible for admission to the MNS course. The DGMS will conduct a separate aptitude test along with the interview and medical fitness test. But only those candidates who appear for the NEET UG exam will be able to apply for admission.

Yes, admission to AFMC is possible without the NEET exam. The students may have to change their course choice if they have missed the NEET or have not cleared it. Without NEET, admission to the BSc course is possible. Hence, students must first decide the course and then move ahead in the application process.

For B.Sc Nursing at AFMC Pune (2025), AFMC does not publish specific cutoff ranks or marks. Typically, a NEET-UG score above 550–600 is considered competitive for being shortlisted.
