No, direct admission is not allowed at AFMC. Admission is strictly based on NEET scores, followed by the AFMC-specific screening process. The institute maintains a highly competitive and merit-based admission policy.

12th marks are not taken into direct consideration for admissions into AFMC PG. The primary and foremost criterion of admission is in the NEET PG test followed by an interview and counseling process. However, your 12th marks get involved while deciding your eligibility to sit for the exam NEET PG as that would be the completion certificate of the undergraduate medical course (MBBS) under a recognised institute. While 12th marks do not directly affect the selection in AFMC PG, maintaining good academic performance throughout your MBBS is essential to secure a seat in AFMC and other reputed medical colleges.

For admission to AFMC, they should clear NEET-UG and register themselves on the official AFMC website. All shortlisted candidates sit for the Screening Test (ToELR), complete a psychological test, and have an interview. All students are afforded a chance to join the university based on their performance in; NEET, TOELR test, and an interview. In other courses, the condition of what is required is different and students apply directly to AFMC. For specific courses and information on when to apply, see their official website for more information.

Yes, NEET UG is needed to get admitted into the B. Sc. Nursing course through AFMC, Armed Forces Medical College. NEET scores get added along with other test results, which include tests like ToGIGE, which stands for a Test of General Intelligence and English, and psychological assessment accompanied by interview for getting admitted. Additionally, students need to have cleared their 10+2 exams with minimum 50% marks obtained in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. Thus, one Class 12 score without passing the NEET UG qualifying is not considered enough.
