Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) is one of the foremost commerce colleges in India, which was founded in the year 1926 in New Delhi. It is one of the best institutes for the higher learning of Economics and Commerce.
Eligibility
The interested candidates need to have 10+2 certificate of CBSE/ISCE board or an equivalent with the minimum 45% marks in aggregate.
The candidates must pass in five subjects, including four elective subjects and one language.
The candidates having qualified the pre-university examination, i.e. 2 years after 10 years of schooling, or Intermediate Examination from a DU recognized Indian university are also eligible to apply for admission.
Eligibility for the UK Candidates
The candidates need to pass in five subjects of Ordinary Level.
The candidates need to pass at least two subjects in Advanced Level.
These two Advance Level subjects can be from the five Ordinary Level subjects.
Or, these two Advanced Level subjects can be from outside the five Ordinary Level subjects.
Note: The candidates not selected in the first cut-off list, could be considered in the next cut-off list on the last admission date as per the availability of seats offered by SRCC for each program.

It also helps in preparing the students for business enterprises in Account and Finance roles. Some universities offers multiple electives and allow students to specialise in a particular subject in a final year. Some legacy universities offer B.Com degree course. Majority of syllabus of B.Com (P) and B.Com (Hons) is same. B.Com (P) gives an overview of various subject where same course in Hons has more depth and content. In B.Com (P) you cannot specialise but in Honours degree student can specialise. B.Com (Hons) is now a de-factor a standard accepted degree for jobs. Cut off for B.Com (Hons) in majority of universities is higher in comparison to B.Com (Pass) as its the preferred choice of students and recruiters. Syllabus of B.Com (Hons) helps and make it easier for students to clear CA examination.

As per various rating agencies, it has always ranked among top three commerce institutes for graduation in commerce. In view of its reputation, every commerce graduation degree aspirant wants to seek admission in B.Com (Hons) at SRCC. Admission is based on the cut-off marks in 10+2. Based on this year's first cut-off list published by Delhi University, you will have to score above 97.75% in the best four subjects in 10+2 to seek admission in B.Com (Hons) at SRCC. You are advised to take commerce with maths to seek admission in SRCC. In order to score very high, you require a plan with dedicated six to seven hours studies a day throughout the year. You have to have a timetable and give equal importance to each subject. You may seek your teachers and friends support to overcome your weaknesses.

Students of all streams are eligible to seek admission in B.Com. The admission in B.Com is based on marks obtained by candidates in 10+2. Admissions are also based on the cut-off marks in 10+2. Some universities ask for best of four subjects and some total marks scored in 10+2. Any Diploma in engineering graduate who has done Diploma after class 10th board is not eligible to seek admission in B.Com because currently Diploma in engineering is not deemed equivalent to 10+2 and students cannot be put at par with 10+2 students of different boards. Diploma in engineering course is not aligned with the field of Commerce. In case you want to do B.Com then you are advised to do 10+2 as an external candidate to become eligible for B.Com or any other graduation degree course.

B.Com (Hons) at LSR is the most sought after commerce undergraduate degree course in India because it can provide a kick-start to a corporate career. It also helps in preparing the students for business enterprises in accounts and finance roles. B.Com (Hons) graduates can do M.Com MBA, CA CS CFA CMA, etc. , to enhance their career growth. B.Com (Hons) graduates of Delhi University are darling of recruiters. They are able to get good jobs in MNCs and consulting firms particularly in banking sectors. BBA programme usually includes general business courses and advanced courses for specific functional areas such as Finance, HR, IT, Marketing, etc. BBA graduates get entry-level supervisor and junior management positions in various types of industries in different management functions. In order to get a good career growth, a BBA graduate would require an MBA to move up the ladder. BBA from GGSIPU offered by affiliated colleges does not same rand value as B.Com (Hons) from DU. Even their campus placement record is quite poor in comparison to DU graduates. Therefore, you may opt for B.Com (Hons) at DU over BBA at GGSIPU.
