This programme focuses on both the artistic and technical sides of making games. Students study game art, level design, game mechanics, and programming. The curriculum also explores the psychology behind why people play games. By the end of the BDes course, students will be able to develop their own playable game assets and levels.

Eligibility: - The basic eligibility for admissions in the Bachelor of Design is 10+2 from any stream, (State Boards AISSCE/ IB/ ISC) the students have to clear the admission process comprising of Design Aptitude test followed by studio test & personal interview.
The following are the admission schedule:-
1. Form submission date: 28 Feb-2019
2. Design Aptitude Test: 7th April 2019
3. Result of DATE: 22nd April 2019
4. B. Des Studio Test & Interview: 13th to 18th May 2019
5. B. Des Final list: 20th May 2019

Yes, there are exams conducted by each institute for B.Des in game design. There is a Design Aptitude Test (DAT) that happens as an entrance test in all the colleges offering Bachelors course in game design.The test includes general aptitude as well as a Creative Aptitude Test. You will have to prepare for English Language test, Analytical ability test and general awareness. Apart from that, your drawing and sketching skills need to be brushed up.
