Hi,

Admission to the B.Ed course is open to those candidates who have passed the Bachelor's Degree of Examination in the faculties of Arts, Science, Social Sciences, Commerce and Management (under 10+2+3 or 10+2+2/10+1+3 pattern), and Engineering. Medicine, Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Forestry, Music and Fine Arts from the University of Jammu or any other statutory University in India and have secured at least 45%  of the aggregate marks in the qualifying Examination in case of general category and 40% for SC/ST candidates.

The total strength for seats for B.Ed admission is 1,000. These aspirants are admitted to Tamil medium (500 students) and English medium (500 students) based on rank list separately prepared for each medium. A total of 50 students are allotted to each Learner Support Centre. Candidates can get a seat in B.Ed based on their merit in UG/ PG examination.

TNOU offers two-year B.Ed Special Education in distance education mode via the Department of Special Education and affiliated colleges. The course is spread across four semesters. The duration is two-years for candidates with RCI recognised D.Ed Specialisation Education, Candidates can complete the programme within a maximum period of four years, after enrolment.

For candidates who does not possess any RCI recignised D.Ed Special Education, the duration of the course is two and a half years. However, the student is permitted to complete the programme within a maximum period of 5 years, after enrolment.

As a Biotechnology graduate, there are a good selection of subjects for B.ED for you.

You can choose Life Sciences, Chemistry, Enviornmenal Studies, Biology and many more.

Also, it depends upon the University you apply because every college or University has their available faculty so it is better to check out their wesites for more infromation.

The fee structure for Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) at Rajeshwari Devi Ram Subhag Singh Mahavidyalaya was 60,000 per year. Now the fees has increased to 75,000 and additional fee includes around 10-15k per year.Comparatively it is one of the worthy course at this college. For more information refer to college website as it has details about all the course fee.
