Candidates aspiring for admission to the course are required to fulfill the following minimum eligibility criteria. Graduation or another such equivalent course in a relevant discipline, completed from a recognized university. Graduation needs to be completed in any of the following:

  • Home Science
  • Nutrition or Dietetics 
  • Food Science
  • Biology
  • Microbiology
  • Clinical Biochemistry
  • Life Sciences
  • BNYS (Naturopathy)
  • BAMS (Ayurveda)

A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of graduation. Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply for the course on provisional basis.

What kind of degree you have is not clear. Please write the course name along with College/ Department name you have completed. UPSC Civil Services requires a Bachelors degree, not equivalent degree. So please write about the qualification you have obtained from Mumbai University.

No, there is no entrance exam for admission in B.Sc. Food Technology at HITS Chennai. The eligibility criteria is given below.
Eligibility criteria: 10+2 with minimum 50% of marks.

Your question is not enough. B.Sc can be pursued after 12th with PCM, while MS is a Masters degree required a Bachelors degree in the respective discipline.
