In my opinion, NMIT have good placement but not very decent placements. Many institutes have better than NIMT,
1). NIFT
2). Pearls University.

NCERT is the best book I can suggest you to prepare for JNU entrance exam og geography.

Admission process as of now is same as it has been in the past years. There is no entrance test and admission is merit based

The fee structure for B.Sc (H) Stats is approximately 12000-13000 for one year. Fee is paid yearly. Hostel fee is approximately 90000.
Admission in hostel is also merit based. Certain CGPA is to be maintained every year to continue with the hostel. Syllabus for stats (H) will be almost same every where with only a few minor changes.

You can look forward for M.Sc in plant biotechnology or M.Sc in genetics and plant breeding.
