I am not sure about the cut-off but they select according to the highest mark scored among the applicants. More preference is given to the Christian applicants when compared to Non-Christians but if a Non-Christian with a high mark has applied then they might consider him/her.

B.Tech is a better option as it is a professional degree/ course, whereas, B.Scn and BCA are not professional but are simple/ regular degrees. These days we have many branches available for B.Tech. Eligibility Criteria:
Gujarat University admissions for a majority of courses are done on the basis of merit determined through candidates marks scored in the qualifying examination. Hi Jiya,
Applicants who have completed HSC/ 10+2 or its equivalent qualifying examination from a recognized board are considered eligible for admission to any UG course.
Selection of the candidate for admission is done on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination.
