IIIT Kota BTech admission is completely entrance-based. Interested candidates are required to apply and appear for JEE Main. After qualifying for the exam, they are required to participate in JoSAA/CSAB counselling for final seat allotment. Interested students must also check the below-mentioned eligibility & selection criteria:

  • Eligibility Criteria: Twelve years of school education with 75% aggregate
  • Selection Criteria: A valid score in JEE (Main) Paper and JoSAA/CSAB counselling

Before the JEE Main 2023 registration process, students must keep the following documents and information ready for a smooth application process:

  • Valid email-id and mobile number
  • Academic details related to the Class 10 and Class 12 qualifying exams
  • Scanned copy of category certificate (if applicable)
  • Scanned copy of PwD Certificate (if applicable)

For last year, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering was 229613 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in Assam University, Silchar.
