B.Tech Admission Process

IIIT Kota BTech admission is completely entrance-based. Interested candidates are required to apply and appear for JEE Main. After qualifying for the exam, they are required to participate in JoSAA/CSAB counselling for final seat allotment. Interested students must also check the below-mentioned eligibility & selection criteria:

• Eligibility Criteria: Twelve years of school education with 75% aggregate
• Selection Criteria: A valid score in JEE (Main) Paper and JoSAA/CSAB counselling

To apply for the BTech programme at NIT Sikkim, candidates must use JEE Main as the application platform. The application process for JEE Main 2024 comprises three stages, which include registration, form filling & document uploading, and payment of the application fee. For last year, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering was 229613 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in Assam University, Silchar.
