After completing your Diploma, you should apply for the B.Tech colleges using your Diploma report card and certificates and then you can easily get a college for B.Tech and join any of them. Your entry would be a lateral entry i.e. 2nd year in B.Tech curriculum.

It is very difficult that any college will give you admission in B.Tech. I would suggest you to first do Polytechnic of 2 years and get good marks and then go for B.Tech.

Yes, you can get admission for B.tech in Assam University but you cannot get a branch of your choice. If you want to get a branch of your choice then you have to take admission in management quota. Best of luck for your future and if there's any query, feel free to ask.

Dear Vishal! Your class 10th CGPA Matters when you will choose the stream in class 11th. Rest it's all depends on your class 12th marks for B.Tech admission. However, they will see your class 10th marks but it's least important. Hope this helps. Good Luck. Upvote the answer if you feel satisfied. Ask any query at anytime.
