B.Tech Aerospace Engineering

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) is the primer institute for education in the field of Aerospace engineering. You are advised to appear for JEE Advanced for doing B.Tech aerospace engineering. All expenses for doing B.Tech aerospace engineering at IIST is paid by the government of India with a job at ISRO subject to availability of vacancies.
Candidates wishing to join the graduation degree programmes at IIST must appear for JEE (Advanced) conducted by IITs (visit http://www.jeeadv.ac.in/ for more details). IIST admission rank list is generated only for those candidates who register online for admission to IIST and satisfy all the eligibility criteria. IIST admission rank list is repaired based on their JEE. The IIST web portal for online registration will be open from 22nd May, up to 12th June 2017. The IIST admission counselling will be conducted during the fourth week of June 2017. Admission will be based on merit, considering the entrance exam marks along with +2/HSC marks etc. as per university norms.
Eligibility to Register for Online Entrance Examination (B.Tech courses /
B.Tech MTM (Master of Technology Management in automobile engineering) - 5 -year Integrated Course/M.Tech (civil) - (civil
engineering with specialization in construction engineering and
management) - 5-year integrated course.
A pass in (10+2) or equivalent examination with a minimum average of
60% marks in maths, physics, & chemistry.
For B.Tech (Biotechnology) alone, a pass in (10+2) with a minimum average of 60% marks in physics, chemistry & mathematics.
Any other examination of any university or authority accepted by this
university as the equivalent of plus two.
