Based on the data available, it is difficult to determine which branch has better placement at SCSVMV between B.Tech CSE and B.Tech ECE. However, it is mentioned that on-campus placements were fewer in core branches, but students in CSE can have some hopes. Yes, NIT Durgapur has very good placement. Last year for CSE Branch, average salary was around INR 8 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 12.47 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.3 LPA and the average salary package offered is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Accenture, TCS, Genpact, Infosys, etc., so B.Tech CSE have a better placement rate than B.Tech ESE at NSHM Durgapur. In ESE, The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA and the average salary package offered is 6.8 LPA.

Both have good placements at the School of Engineering and Technology, since B.Tech has a vast opportunity option and the ECE Branch would make more sense.

As with the ECE branch one can conqueror not even programming jobs but also the electronics sector.

  1. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE): opt for this if you are interested in software development, programming, and computer technologies. CSE has the highest placement package.Electronics and 
  2. Communication Engineering (ECE): Suitable for those interested in communication systems, embedded systems, and electronic devices along with programming.
