The university has two institutions offering Computer Science related courses. One is MMEC, the engineering college offering CSE BTech. The other is MMICTBM which has a Software Development course.
Their blog has some insights. I shall suggest putting a query to them through the admission helpline and see if you get the info what you need.

Both are different fields. Find your interest, and then take admission in any college. To make you clear- Journalism is all about field work and B.Tech is all about technology.

While there are plenty of colleges out there, I would suggest you go for Thapar Institute in Patiala. This year, it has introduced new admission criteria. Mode 1 70% seats on the basis of JEE (Main)-2019/NEET-2019 rankings
Mode 2 30% seats on the basis of 10+2 PCM/PCB scores
For more details please checkhttps://admissions.thapar.edu/online-application-form.php?_ga=2.61410220.1049489634.1552475651-109155482.1542883253
Their applications are open. Check it out.
