Your son has to clear JEE Advanced for getting into any of the IITs in the country. He has done well in JEE Mains. I think he is eligible to apply for JEE Advanced. Through JEE Mains, one can only get NITs, IIITs and other colleges, but not IIT.

Percentile is only an indicator; the game lies on ranks. However, if your son is a 'home' candidate there yes. There is a higher chance of getting CSE. But if he is an 'other state' candidate then a bit of tough. But my opinion is only suggestive.

From BMSCE Bangalore, SVUCE Tirupati, and GNDU Amritsar for B.Tech in CSE department, I'll prefer you to opt for the BMSCE Bangalore as this is the best college all in terms of placements, infra and faculty.

Fee structure for CSE B.Tech varies from University to University. The average fees varies from around 70,000 to 4, 00,000 in different universities. It depends of which University you are asking for. Good luck.

Dear Partha, according to me, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati is better for B.Tech (CSE) because of its better infrastructure, the latest syllabus, qualified teaching, high tech labs, etc.
